If you're wondering what makes Village Internet tick, here are some of our key objectives...
We want to build a long term and sustainable relationship with you and hope that you'll be a regular customer of ours for the forseeable future. We want to get to know your specific IT requirements and when we see your PC or laptop, treat it as an old friend. We want to provide a truly personal service where the advice and service we give is the best for you.
We believe that the recession will make people see the attraction of using local businesses. We in turn are also looking look to source as many of our supplies as possible locally. There is also the attraction of dealing with a company that has 'real people' who you can talk to, and if you need advice or have any concerns, they will be there for you. And for real convenience, forget call centres in far-off lands or having to queue at PC World, we actually come to your door! So, we welcome all IT 'locavores' and look forward to helping local residents and businesses.
We recognise that when we have your PC, laptop or Internet details that you are trusting us with sensitive information. Rest assured that we treat all information that we come in contact with as totally confidential. The success of our service is based on providing an open, honest and trusted service. We have also been registered under the Data Protection Act since 1st January 2004 and take our responsibilities seriously with regard to data protection and privacy.
We recognise the threat posed by climate change and in all our dealing we will where possible promote recycling and repairing. Where a product is beyind economical repair we will try and find the 'greenest' method of disposal.
On the very odd occasion that something seems to go wrong - and no, we're not infallible - all we ask is that if you have any concerns about our service, please get in touch with us and we will do everything we can to resolve the problem and put it right. Remember, if you don't tell us, we can't fix it.
